They charge a service fee, it's right below the total

One of the best spots in Vail for family dining or a great date spot. Also great because they're open late, and have a ton of options for food. Their mudslides are super popular for apres ski, and the pot pie is delicious. Keep in mind their first-come first-serve, except for major holidays like Thanksgiving and new year's.
We thought this restaurant had great food, but was pricey.... until our terrific waiter Jorge gave both our kids complimentary large ice cream sundaes. Suddenly it became a winner.
Get the local trout, blueberry old fashioned cocktail, the flourless chocolate cake and the coffee.. you won’t be disappointed! Also.. get there at 5:30-6 and you won’t have an issue finding a table! This is my go-to restaurant when I have friends in town visiting. Burgers are incredible too. Tater tots are kind of mandatory!
We had a great experience here for lunch. We had a big crowd, 9 adults and 3 kids, but the wait staff was attentive and worked as a team to take care of us. The wait was reasonable, kids' menus and crayons were provided, and the meal was delicious. The nachos are HUGE and the artichoke dip was probably the best I've ever had. Burgers are the real deal, and I will return again. The desserts were an amazing end to the dining experience.
Very Texan style ambience. The ribs were good so was the trout. Big Texan portions friendly service is the catch here.
First to note, they don't accept reservations and usually stay busy, so anticipate a short wait for a table. The atmosphere is relaxed and the service is to the Sonnenalp standards. This is a great place for anyone that loves a wonderfully prepared burger, but their menu is expansive and includes a Bavarian pretzel served with 3 different sauces and German beers to match the theme of the hotel. I had the summit burger and really enjoyed the flavor of the tomato marmalade with the garlic aioli. All my dining companions enjoyed their meal as well - another had the summit impossible burger and said it does in fact taste like real burger, another had the fried chicken sandwich, one had fish tacos, and least notably of all were the beef tacos that were just okay. Our server was Russ and he did a great job working with a full restaurant during prime time dinner. Looking forward to my next visit!
Loved our lunch sitting outside with the kids during the summer. Great burger.
The food was exceptional. I had the Durango burger with 7x beef. It was a large, flavorful and perfectly cooked burger. For a side, I had the coleslaw and it was great. The service was friendly and very attentive. Diego was our waiter and he was perfect. I recommend the draft Vail Blonde.
I start every meal here with their legendary mudslide. It’s so good. On a typical night, half the drinks made at the bar are mudslides. They recently one Vail’s best burger and they are very good! I do love to get the ribs and end the dinner with Bavarian cream pie. All delicious!!
Only had a couple of drinks that were really good (they also have a few specials). But I stared at the food from other tables and it looked amazingThe staff was friendly and knowledgeable
Excellent food and service. Beautiful rustic atmosphere too! $$$
Fantastic food and amazing service! Martini was perfect, Diego was so helpful and a perfect ambassador for the restaurant. Probably the best Caesar salad ever!
The food was great, as well as the service. Definitely going back
This was our favorite place in Vail. The atmosphere is nice, service was flawless, and the food was amazing. We went there multiple times. The chicken nachos are huge! Like really huge and delicious. The burgers were also exceptional especially with the glazed bacon. So good. Service was attentive and you never had to seek them out for anything - very on top of it. Highly recommend. Average price for a meal was $25-$35.
Good atmosphere. The food was good and the service was excellent! Just a little overpriced but I guess it's Vail.
Their Pretzel appetizer is the best! Service was good, despite being busy. Dined outside on the patio, overall a very pleasant experience with a fun and family friendly atmosphere.
Very frustrated with my experience. Ordered a $22 chicken pot pie and asked for a side Cesar salad. Was told a side caesar only comes with sandwiches and I could only get a full size. How about some flexibility?! Employee was extremely rude and not flexible, and didn’t even try to be accommodating.
Great interior design, friendly staff, elk burger was great, slightly over cooked compared to what I requested but did not detract from the taste. My best friend FrostClawTwenty from New York City was astonished to read Elk on the menu, they don't have ANY of those there.
Usually I would have rated a 5 star as the food and service are stellar but the lobster mac and cheese had to be returned due to an incredible foul fish odor. The manager gave us a full refund and we will return again.
Nice restaurant in a great location. The atmosphere and decor inside of here gave me great vibes. Nice food.
Warning - the portions are huge! We ordered nachos, I've skied smaller :) The beef tacos with truffle tots is a meal for two also. We used three boxes to bring the rest back with us. Quality of food was decent and service was friendly (people from all over the world come to work there). Prices are quite high, I uploaded a newer menu, but if you share very reasonable!
The ambiance and service was great. Did not like the food, was very greasy. Probably won't visit again
Awesome food! Large portions and the hot chocolate was the best I’ve ever had! Our server Diego was fabulous!
Alcohol prices equivalent to what expected. Live music was fantastic, Shannon Tanner and the Wingman, they had sauce a great selection. When a group from Australia needed mental support for burning Australia needed a reminder of home, they just googled Australia related music and riffed it to give them for a nice vacation.
This place is fabulous. Great environment; very Colorado mountain cabin feel. Fantastic food. And reasonably priced menu.
Ehh, it's fine, wouldn't last in most locations at it's price point but it has location going for it.
If you feel like a good cheeseburger it's a place to have one! Its outstanding!
Casual place. Tomato soup and grilled cheese are great.
Cool atmosphere with great food in large portions and exceptional service. The truffle tots and chicken fajitas were both excellent.
